NEW YORK, January 23, 2014 — China Institute is proud to announce that it has been selected as a Signature Partner of the 100,000 Strong Foundation for 2013-2014. As one of the eight inaugural Signature Partners, China Institute is dedicated to working with the 100,000 Strong Foundation to encourage a greater and more diverse number of US students to study in China as a means to promote cross-cultural understanding and strengthen US-China relations.
For over 80 years, China Institute has been dedicated to advancing a deeper understanding of China through its education, arts and culture, and business programs. Since 2005, its Summer Study in China program has successfully brought hundreds of American high school students to China. China Institute is honored that ten of its Summer Study students have been selected to serve as 100,000 Strong Student Ambassadors for 2013-2014 to promote a mission shared by China Institute and the 100,000 Strong Foundation.
