China Institute in America and Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation Announce New Partnership to Promote U.S. – China Cultural Exchanges

Generous support from Dr. Sabrina Ho will provide sponsorship and support for art and education

New York | September 26, 2024 –  China Institute in America (Institute) is thrilled to announce the signing of a partnership agreement on September 26, 2024 with Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation (Foundation) to launch a special program for the Institute’s centenary in 2026.  The agreement was signed by George S. Geh, CEO of the Institute, and Dr. Sabrina Ho Chiu Yeng, who serves as the Foundation’s President and chairs the Arts, Culture, and Education Division.

With a special gift of USD $100,000 to China Institute in America by the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation, the Institute will collaborate with Dr. Sabrina Ho to launch a special program in the fourth quarter of 2024. This gift will initially provide sponsorship support for China Institute’s arts and education programs as well as the Institute’s centennial fundraising effort.

As President of the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation, Dr. Sabrina Ho, the daughter of the late Dr. Stanley Ho, is an extraordinary advocate for cultural and educational development in Macau and other cities. She has made important contributions to art, education, and social progress for peace and justice. As the chairwoman of the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation of Arts, Culture, and Education, Dr. Ho has spearheaded a variety of cultural initiatives that have enriched Macau’s creative ecosystem.
