夏志清先生（1921.2.18—2013.12.29）是海外中国现代文学研究开山式的重量级学者，在海内外中国文学研究界有着广泛而持久的影响。值此夏先生逝世十周年纪念之际，华美人文学会于美东时间12月29日晚8时至9时半（北京时间12月30日早9时至10时半）特邀夏志清先生的研究者季进教授做专题讲座，回顾夏先生的生平、学术历程，反思其贡献与意义，以此表达深切的怀念之情。
