Yi Su, also named Yijin, is member of China Calligraphers Association and Northern America Chinese Calligraphy Association. During her twenty years of practice, Su’s calligraphy works have won numerous awards and been selected for various exhibitions. Her works also appear frequently on major media. Su had her solo exhibition in Pace University Gallery in New York in 2015, and created her calligraphy art studio “BIMO Theory” in 2020.

A descendant of Su Shi (1037-1101), renowned poet, scholar, and calligrapher in Song dynasty, Su learnt mainly from ancient calligraphy masters like Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, Mi Fu, Wang Duo. Su is skillful of writing various script styles, among which she is most passionate about “small regular script” and “large cursive script”.

苏艺，字伊槿，江苏常州人，苏轼第三十三世后裔。中国书法家协会会员，北美中国书法协会会员。本科毕业于南京师范大学，后在美国印第安纳大学伯明顿分校攻读艺术管理专业，硕士毕业，现居纽约。自幼书宗二王、米芾、王铎等，真草隶篆，诸体皆能，尤擅小楷，最喜大草。

学书二十年来，作品曾三十余次入展、获奖，如入选《全国铁人杯书法作品展》，《全国第四届妇女书法篆刻作品展》,《纽约中国书法国际大展》，获《第六届全国高校师生书画艺术大展》大学组特等奖等。于二〇〇七年在江苏常州举办《龙城凤墨——八女书法作品展》，二〇一五年在纽约举办《花信南薰——苏艺个人书法展》，二〇二〇年在纽约创办个人书法工作室BIMO Theory。作品在《书法导报》、《文汇报》等报刊杂志上刊登，多次参加中美文化交流活动。

Yimin Miao, Chinese woodwind (Dizi and Xiao) virtuoso and educator, was born in Shanghai, China. He is a founder of New York BaBan Chinese Music Society. When Miao was nine years old, he started studying dizi with Xunfa Yu, the most celebrated bamboo flutist in China. He is a former member with the internationally acclaimed Shanghai Traditional Orchestra. After moving to the United States, Miao established the BaBan Chinese Music Society in 1999. He has conducted Chinese Music Workshops in New York University, Columbia University, as well as public schools and public libraries. In 2014, he performed with the Santa Fe Opera. In 2017, he performed with the China National Orchestra’s Carnegie Hall debut in New York. His article “Chinese Flute and Xiao Music in North America” was published in China Culture News. Miao is an awardee of the NYC Council for the Outstanding Cultural Contribution Award.

缪宜民, 竹笛、洞箫演奏家与教育家, 纽约八板中国⾳乐协会会长与创立人。缪宜⺠师从笛箫大师俞逊发先生, 曾是山东济南前卫民族乐团与上海民族乐团的笛箫演奏家。1996年来美后, 缪宜民曾在纽约大学东亚系开授笛箫演奏课程, 多次在纽约卡内基音乐厅, 林肯艺术中心和大都会艺术博物馆举办音乐会, 并在耶鲁大学, 康奈尔大学, 纽约大学, 哥伦比亚大学以及纽约各公立学校与公共图书馆, 举办“中国音乐工作坊”的讲座与推广。2014年, 他曾在美国圣达菲歌剧院担任中国竹笛的演奏。2017年, 他受邀加盟吕嘉指挥下的中国国家大剧院乐团, 参与了该团在纽约卡内基音乐厅的首次公演。缪宜民的文章《中国笛箫音乐在北美》曾发表于中国文化报, 撰写的纪念文章《用⽣命吹奏的未完成乐章 —— 纪念先师俞逊发先⽣70周年冥诞》, 被“昭华民族音乐”等多家媒体转载。

Zhou Yi, pipa and qin soloist, was born in Shanghai, China and was praised for her “breathtaking” meticulous technique and expressiveness by the Washington Post. Discovered by a Chinese instrumentalist talent scout at the age of five, she went on to graduate from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music before moving to New York to pursue her music career. As a concert soloist, Zhou Yi has performed in prestigious venues worldwide, impressing audiences with her masterful playing and vast repertoire. Some of her career highlights include Tan Dun’s Concerto for Pipa and String Orchestra at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Germany; a Young People’s Concert with the New York Philharmonic; Bun-Ching Lam’s Sudden Thunder with the Sinfonieorchester Münster; Zuqiang Wu’s Sisters of the Grassland with the Ohio Youngstown Symphony Orchestra; and more. She has also premiered works by young composers in various styles, such as Xinyan Li’s Dunhuang Lovers at Carnegie Hall; Jianbing Hu’s Fine Sound from Tianzhu at NEC Jordan Hall; Qian Zhou’s Qu Shui Ming Yun (Sounds from the Winding Water) for qin and electronic at the Mata Festival; and Du Yun’s Kung Fu soundtrack for David Henry Huang’s off-broadway production. In addition to her solo career, Zhou Yi’s other guest appearances in operatic and festival productions, including Bright Sheng’s Dream of the Red Chamber at San Francisco Opera, Huang Ruo’s Paradise Interrupted at Lincoln Center Festival and Dr. Sun Yat-sen at Santa Fe Opera. With a unique musical style that melds traditional Chinese music with contemporary sounds, Zhou Yi continues to enthrall audiences worldwide with her captivating performances and artistry.

周懿, 琵琶、古琴演奏家, 出生于中国上海, 5岁习琴。从上海音乐学院毕业后赴美, 参与创立了纽约八板中国音乐协会。她合作过的乐团有: 纽约爱乐乐团, 大都会交响乐团等。其演奏的代表曲目有: 谭盾的《鬼戏》, 吴祖强的《草原小姐妹》等。她也曾在旧金山歌剧院的世界首演盛宗亮的歌剧《红楼梦》, 以及圣达菲歌剧院的世界首演黄若的《孙中山》歌剧中担任特邀琵琶与古琴演奏。她的其它跨界表演包括：为华裔作家黄哲伦的《铁路之舞》 和《功夫》两部外百老汇剧配乐,在卡内基音乐厅举办的世界音乐教育系列节目“音乐探秘”中担任中国音乐的演示。华盛顿邮报对她的演奏曾赞“精致的技巧与绝佳的演奏风范，美得令人屏息凝神”。
