China Institute Hoppy Rabbit Playdate

华美跳跳兔亲子时光

March 16, 2025

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM ET

This winter, bring your little ones to China Institute to meet new friends and have fun playing!

For every third Sunday of each month, China Institute in America’s Hoppy Rabbit Playdate program offers a freeplay session where families can bring their children to our spacious and cozy classrooms to play, socialize, and have fun with various toys and activities. This is a great time to meet children and families local in the neighborhood who are interested in exploring Chinese language and culture.

All families are welcome! We require all children stay with their caregivers at all times, with the supervision and support from our Mandarin speaking educators and dedicated staff. Toys, crayons, picture books, and other educational supplies will be provided onsite. Suitable for ages 1-4 years old.

Let’s make many new friends and great memories! Looking forward to meeting you all very soon!

Visit us during our popular playdate on Sunday, March 16th for an 1.5 hour open session where families can bring their children to our spacious and cozy indoor playground space to play, socialize, have fun with age-appropriate toys and activities. This is also a great opportunity to meet multi-lingual children and families in the neighborhood who are also interested in exploring new language and culture.

For this event, we invite special guests Echos of China, a New York-based ensemble and registered nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the rich heritage of Chinese music with global audiences. Music stations will be set up for children to engage and interact to learn more about Chinese traditional instruments. Toys, crayons, picture books, and other educational supplies will be provided onsite.

This program is made possible through the support of the Chinese International Education Foundation, and generous supporters of China Institute in America.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.

China Institute in America’s cultural programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
