Heritage Chinese Beginner III

This course is specifically designed for heritage Chinese learners who have completed Heritage Chinese Beginner I & II at the China Institute and wish to continue developing their reading skills in preparation for future Heritage Chinese Intermediate level courses. It is also suitable for heritage learners who possess strong speaking skills and can read approximately 600 Chinese characters.

The course introduces additional functional vocabulary, sentence patterns, and expressions, while reinforcing grammar through reading texts that explore a variety of cultural topics. Writing practice is also a key component of the training.

Course materials are carefully selected from the well-regarded HSK Standard Course series, specifically HSK Level 3, providing a solid foundation for advancement to intermediate courses, which will use HSK Level 4 materials.

No textbook is required. Reading texts will be provided.
