China Fashion Gala 2020 “One World in Beauty”
Support the most glamorous night online honoring the dazzling diversity of Chinese fashion and culture.
On July 23, China Institute and the Yue-Sai Kan China Beauty Charity Fund partnered to put on our annual China Fashion Gala. The 2020 event saluted the global prestige beauty brand Estée Lauder; fashion designer and opinion leader Phillip Lim; actress, director, artist, and activist Lucy Liu; and Chinese investor, entrepreneur and philanthropist Wendy Yu. The event also featured a Heaven Gaia fashion show, with designer Xiong Ying, and a special performance of the legendary Thousand Hand Bodhisattva dance!
All proceeds from China Fashion Gala 2020 – One World in Beauty benefit China Institute and its mission, since 1926, to advance greater understanding between the U.S. and China. For 94 years, our organization has continued to provide meaningful insight into China and advances deeper understanding through programs in culture, art, education, and business. All contributions benefit China Institute’s general operating fund.
