China Institute Spring Special: Tea for Harmony – Yaji Cultural Salon

In celebration of International Tea Day, join us at China Institute with your friends and family at our Yaji Cultural Salon, where we will be bringing you an assortment of specialty teas and festivities flown in specifically for this event from the port city of Quanzhou, in Southern Fujian, China!

Festivities include:

• Quanzhou marionette performance
• Tea ceremony demonstration
• Quanzhou Nanyin performance (Listed as a World Human Verbal and Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO)
• Specialty tea tasting (Tie Guanyin, Wuyi Tea, Buddha’s Hand Tea, White Tea, Jasmine Tea)
• Speciality tea gift bag giveaway to event participants

This event is family friendly.
Cultural salon tickets usually sell out quickly. We recommend participants reserve early.
