You’re invited to join China Institute Food and Wine Club members for a private tour of Takashi Murakami’s first solo exhibition in San Francisco entitled, Takashi Murakami: Unfamiliar People — Swelling of Monsterized Human Ego. With a boldly colored, upbeat style and a pop sensibility that draws inspiration from anime and manga, Mukami uses monsters as the central motif to highlight the complicated nature our rapidly changing and increasingly digital landscape.
