Join us for a professional development program tailored for K-12 educators, coinciding with the opening of China Institute’s Fall 2024 exhibition, Gold from Dragon City: Master Pieces of Three Yan from Liaoning, 337 – 436, organized by China Institute Gallery and Liaoning Provincial Museum. The exhibition, on view from September 5, 2024, to January 5, 2025, in New York, presents extraordinary treasures including sculptures, bronze mirrors, inkstones, imperial seals, and ceramic vessels, from nearly 70 years of archeological excavations in northern China.
Participants will engage in a variety of enriching activities, including a docent-led tour and guided discussions by Dr. Robin Harvey. This event provides a unique opportunity for educators to network with peers while exploring connections to K-12 classrooms in teaching Chinese language, culture, art, history and beyond.
