Our beloved China Institute Literati Salon returns for its third time! Join us this June for an evening of music, poetry, calligraphy, and wine!
Started in China nearly a thousand years ago, literati salons are elegant gatherings of scholars, artists, musicians, poets…essentially culture lovers of all kinds to be connected with nature, art, and music while sipping tea and wine. Inspired by this ancient tradition, China Institute Literati Salon invites you to immerse yourself in an unforgettable experience of Chinese culture.
Participants will read-aloud classical poems, practice calligraphy while enjoy music, all carefully curated by our cultural experts.
Tea, wine and refreshments will be served.
This program is made possible through the support of the Chinese International Education Foundation, and generous supporters of China Institute.
This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
