Joe Wong is a trailblazing Chinese American comedian who seamlessly blends Eastern and Western comedic traditions. He earned a PhD in before transitioning to comedy. Wong has captivated audiences worldwide with his deadpan delivery and insightful humor, making notable appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” In 2010, he headlined the 66th Radio and Television Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington D.C., where he humorously roasted then-Vice President Joe Biden.

Wong’s comedy masterfully bridges cultural divides, offering audiences a fresh and humorous take on everyday life and cultural nuances. His performances are a testament to his ability to connect with diverse audiences through humor that transcends borders.

Karl Xie is a stand-up comedian who performs in both English and Mandarin. He regularly appears on shows around New York area, including St Marks Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club,  Greenwich Village Comedy Club etc.


Di Cai

Warm-Up Comedian

Di Cai is an investment professional by day and a stand-up comedian at night.  A former Chinese TV hostess turned PhD scientist; an investor moonlights as a comedian, going by a stage name Dr Dee in the underground New York comedy clubs. Whether it’s stand up or storytelling, Di has her unique perspectives as an immigrant, a woman, and a badass, bridging the US-China perception gap through stories and laughter. As a stand-up comedian and storyteller, Di has been on tours in North America and Asia and featured in Kenan Thompson Presents, Apollo Theater, The Moth Main Stage, etc. Before moving to the US, she was a presenter at Tianjin TV Network, China’s fourth largest network. Di received the Women’s Gala Rising Star Award, recognizing “the next generation of women with enormous potential to create change in China and the world”. She has emceed China Institute Blue Cloud Gala, Wharton Global Forum Beijing, Serica AAPI Women’s Gala and China General Chamber of Commerce Chicago Gala.
