Ronald Diamond

Vice Chairman of the Board, Conair LLC and CEO, Cuisinart Outdoor

Ron Diamond has spent more than 40 years in the consumer appliances industry, with the last several years at the helm of Conair as its President and CEO. Ron has often said that one would be hard pressed to find a company anywhere in the world with the portfolio of prestigious brands equal to Conair.

Hired in 1980 as Regional Manager of the Toiletries Division, he was quickly promoted to Vice President of Sales. In 1983 he was appointed Division V.P. for Consumer Toiletries and just a year later, he was put in charge of Conair’s major business unit, as V.P. and General Manager of Personal Care, ultimately being promoted to the position of Senior Vice President.

By 2000, Ron was serving as Conair’s Co-President, and in May of 2008 was promoted to President. Throughout his career at Conair, Ron worked closely with Lee Rizzuto, the company’s founder and owner, who became a lifelong friend and mentor. Under their leadership, the company thrived.

On May 21, 2021, Conair was acquired by American Securities and Ron became President and CEO of Conair LLC. In January 2024 he moved from the CEO role to that of Vice Chairman of Conair’s Board of Directors and took responsibility for the newly acquired Cuisinart Outdoors.

Today Conair is a $3 billion global corporation, whose name and brands are recognized and respected around the world. Ron Diamond was part of that success, and he intends to keep up the incredible momentum Conair has experienced in its 62 years of business.

Giving back is a large part of Ron’s life. Closest to his heart has been Hope Lodge, a haven that provides free, temporary housing for cancer patients and caregivers in New York City, the lifesaving Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and the Jewish Community Center Association.

Ron Diamond is a recipient of the 2004 Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Housewares Charity Foundation.
